Fruit Salad

1 can fruit-cocktail
1 can mandarin oranges
1 can pineapple chucks (unless in your fruit cocktail)
Craisins

Drain the juice from mandarin oranges into a small sauce pan
Add cornstarch to thicken
Mix and boil until thick

Drain fruit-cocktail and pour fruit into bowl with mandarin oranges and desired amount of craisens
Pour thickened juice over top, mix, and chill

The original recipe is Grandma Baron's Thanksgiving fruit salad and has chopped apples, pomegranates (instead of craisins), and other fruit. I was just told the basics of it and use it to make my own fruit salad.
